Update on Paths to Common Areas (June 2018):

Post date: Jul 11, 2018 10:57:56 PM

As you may or may not be aware, the original developer (informally referred to as “Rock”) submitted site plans to Pittsfield Township when they first started development.  This also required a bond with the township to ensure they completed all aspects of the site plan. Rock stepped out the development of the subdivision but if they wanted their bond returned, they had to complete the work on their original site plans.  Rock is now seeking the return of their bond and the Township is expecting them to complete the original site plan.  This includes finishing the paths according to the original site plans which includes all paths in Phase 4 and the recently completed plans from Bitternut in between Nutmeg and Blue Spruce.

The Village of Hickory Pointe Board of Directors tried to influence and be kept aware of all steps and actions, however we were limited due to the initial agreement being between Rock and the Township.
