The pool will be closed from September 12, 2022.

Normally we close the pool on the Tuesday after Labor Day.  Because the weather is predicted to be good and we don't see a problem getting repairs done after it closes, we can keep the pool open for another week.  Enjoy!

Pool Interruptions

posted Jul 25, 2022, 5:05 PM by Laura Higle

We've been experiencing ongoing issues with one of the showers at the pool.  Though repeatedly reported to Select Management, and repeated responses to our reports, it is continuing to happen.  Our recent challenge (yesterday, Sunday July25) identified some broken pipes we think were due to the heat though are still awaiting a full assessment and plan to fully correct.

July 25 we had to turn off the water to the bathrooms which forced us to close the pool since we are required to have working bathrooms with our public pool.

The pool was set to reopen today and somehow the notification it was open again did not occur. We apologize about that.  Sometimes volunteer Board members have intense priorities in their full time jobs and communications to cover each other cross wires.  We will strive to do better!

Thank you for your patience.  I will push very hard on Select as I find this ongoing issue unacceptable.

Common Area Paved Surfaces

Homeowners - please note:  The paved surfaces in common areas are not maintained in the winter. When using these areas please exercise caution and do so at your own risk.

Homeowners are Responsible for Shoveling Their Sidewalks

posted Jan 8, 2022, 7:32 AM by Laura Higle

Per Pittsfield Township ordinance - homeowners are responsible for shoveling their sidewalks within 24 hours of a snowfall.

Neighbors are alerting all that icy sidewalks are treacherous and there are many who walk the sidewalks in the winter (for their dogs, their kids, their own exercise, etc.).  Please be neighborly and shovel your walks.  The sooner you shovel, the less probability of compressed snow or ice!!

Complaints can be made to the township if a neighbor sees an ongoing issue with a homeowner. But hopefully that won't happen and we'll all try to help each other out.
